Social Work Award

Hispanic-Canadian Relationship Award
Recognizing an individual of the Hispanic community, who has experienced significant success within Canadian society. Eligible candidates include scientists, executives, investigators and professors.

Hispanic Folklore Presence Award

Media Personality of the Year Award

Athletic Movement of the Year Award

Literary Award
No award was presented in 2004 for this category due to an insufficient number of candidatures. Due to the outstanding quality of the literary works of two Hispanic-Canadian writers the Selection Committee decided to present them with an honorific mention.

Canadian-Hispanic Relationship Award

Alejandro Jadad

Born in Colombia, this doctor of medicine became one of the top experts in the study of the coca plant and worked for the governments of Colombia and USA as a consultant. His career in Canada has been very succesful...
 

Lifetime Achievement Award

Luis Fornazzari

Career neurologist with a world renown scientific body of work in behavioral neurology, is founder of the multicultural memory clinic affiliated to the Centre for Addictions and Mental Health in Toronto.
